OHS for Supervisors /
Managers
Title:
Occupational Health and Safety Managers Course.
Effective Date:

Course Fees:
$750.00 (inclusive GST). Course fees include participant manual and
full catering.
Method of Application:
Training is delivered as a single module in classroom settings.
Training includes theoretical components and group activities.
Course Aim:
The course introduces participants to OHS legislation and
responsibilities and is designed for managers, supervisors,
employees and individuals seeking a greater appreciation of health
and safety and its application in the workplace.
Course Description:
The course provides participants with an understanding of the
relevant legislation, and an understanding of risk management
processes to assist them to carry out their function. The course
provides participants with basic knowledge and skills to be able to
operate within the bounds of OHS legislation to ensure that their
workplace, as far as practicable, is safe and without risks.
Eligibility:
This course is relevant to managers, supervisors, employees and
individuals from various industry groups seeking a greater
appreciation of health and safety issues and its application in the
workplace.
Location of Training:
The course may be delivered at the registered offices of Safer Oz
or, on location as required.

Course Aim:
Designed for executives, this course introduces participants to OHS
legislation and responsibilities from a management perspective and
seeks to reinforce understanding of OHS legislative responsibilities
and appreciation of its application to the workplace.
Course Description:
The course provides participants with basic knowledge and skills to
effectively implement, maintain and evaluate an OHS system within
the bounds of legislation to ensure that their workplace, and those
they have responsibility for, as far as practicable, are safe and
without risk.

industry groups seeking a greater appreciation of health and safety
issues and its application in the workplace.
